Packaged Foods Mogul Starts International Christian TV Program

PHOENIX, Jan. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Out of the desert emerges a new force on the international Christian Evangelical scene. David Turner, a successful businessman leading SunTree, a major packaged foods company based in Phoenix, Ariz., today announced that his ministry, David Turner International Ministries (DTIM), will launch "The Gospel is the Power" program on two of the world's most-watched Christian TV Networks, Daystar and Inspiration.

The idea that a virtually unknown man with a business background is launching a TV program to such a wide audience astonishes many in Christian media circles.

David Turner could be described as a Christian outsider. He is not funded or supported by any movement or denomination. Prompted by miracles he experienced, Turner has traveled the world spending his own corporate resources and personal funds to support his ministry.

The Gospel is the Power will premiere on Jan. 8 at 8:30 a.m. EST on the Inspiration Network and Jan. 11 at 3 p.m. CST on the Daystar Network. In episode one of The Gospel is the Power, The Mercy of God (Part 1 of 2), David Turner reveals a deeper understanding of the "Merciful Character" of God. He brings the account of the healing of Bartameaus to life and shows us how to rely upon the mercy of God to seek our personal healing through teaching and testimony.

Episode two will air Jan. 15 at 8:30 a.m. EST on Inspiration and Jan. 18 at 3 p.m. CST on Daystar. In this episode, The Mercy of God (Part 2 of 2), David Turner looks at the healing of blind Bartameaus and reveals a deeper insight into the modern day promises of the healing of Jesus Christ. The miraculous testimony of a present-day Christian woman healed from cancer will also be part of this episode.

"I myself was injured and after four men carried me to my bedroom in excruciating pain, I uttered a life changing sentence," said Turner. "I asked Jesus if you still heal today, heal me now, and He did."

That personal miracle opened the door to a flood of miracles, signs and wonders. Turner began going out to anyone who would listen to share his story and has dedicated his life to telling the world that Jesus Christ is alive and still doing miracles. When David prays blind eyes and deaf ears open, the paralyzed walk, cancer and sicknesses and disease of all kinds are healed.
