PacketVideo Brings Toon Goggles Online Kids Channel to Home TVs with Twonky™ Beam Browser

LOS ANGELES, March 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Online kids channel Toon Goggles (www.toongoggles.com) has signed a licensing agreement with software pioneer PacketVideo that gives Toon Goggle viewers the ability to beam programming from iPads and Android devices to their home TVs with the Twonky™ Beam Browser video streaming app; it was announced today by Stephen Hodge, Executive Vice President of New Media at Toon Goggles.

Under the agreement, PacketVideo will prominently feature a Toon Goggles link on the Twonky Beam Browser homepage where viewers can instantly access the Toon Goggles library of kid friendly programming and use the Twonky app to beam the programming directly to any Internet-connected TV, without needing cables to connect the devices. Viewers can then control the playback and volume on the TV with their tablet devices.
