Pactera Establishes Chief Information Security Officer Role

Dalton has been appointed Chief Information Risk & Security Officer (CISO) and Senior Vice President. Mr. Dalton will report directly to Pactera Chief Executive Officer Tiak Koon Loh.

As a leading expert in the security area, Mr. Dalton has over 23 years of global management experience working in both a business and technical capacity for Fortune 500 companies. He has extensive experience managing large, globally distributed groups within critical path initiatives in finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, R&D, and other industry fields. He successfully developed and executed global information security programs, business continuity programs, and disaster recovery programs for global IT companies. Mr. Dalton is a recognized speaker in the field of information security, and has authored articles and cover stories appearing in leading information security magazines.

At Pactera, Mr. Dalton will focus on establishing a company-wide information security standard while developing a solid foundation to engage with strategic clients and demonstrate the Company's leadership in information security practices. He will be establishing a holistic company-wide structured program on how to achieve company's objectives and how to enable delivery staff to develop software with enhanced information risk consideration.

• Curtis E. Dalton, SVP and Chief Information Risk & Security Officer for Pactera, is an information security and technology executive with over 23-years' experience - many of which working within the Fortune 500. Prior to joining Pactera, Dalton was Chief Information Security Officer for Sapient. Dalton developed an acclaimed security program, business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response programs globally to support a burgeoning business which doubled to over $1.4B with over 13,000 employees across 37 offices worldwide. Under Dalton's direction, the company received several external accolades including a perfect score within comprehensive ISO 27001 audits.
• Dalton's experience dates back to the beginning of the security profession when he helped develop one of the first firewalls, implemented one of the first global VPN solutions, and developed an early Data Loss Prevention solution in the mid '90's. Dalton began his career at Apollo Computer where he honed skills in multiple UNIX operating system's, architectures and early token ring, and Ethernet networking technologies. Mr. Dalton spent years designing large LAN's and WAN's for companies such as Siemens and others while also managing and delivering security consulting services.
