Palladiem Names Former Lockwood Executive John A. Lake National Sales Director

MALVERN, Pa., Aug. 22, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Palladiem LLC ("Palladiem"), an independent investment advisory firm that focuses on the development and execution of customized investment strategies and services for independent financial advisors, broker dealers and institutions, today announced that John A. Lake has been appointed national sales director for Palladiem.

Prior to joining Palladiem, Mr. Lake served as regional director for Loring Ward Inc., and as assistant vice president and senior regional director for Lockwood Advisors, an affiliate of Pershing LLC, a BNY Mellon company.  During his time at Lockwood, Mr. Lake was responsible for wholesaling discretionary unified managed account (UMA), mutual fund wrap, and separately managed account (SMA) products to independent advisor and RIA channels in 14 states.  Earlier in his career, Mr. Lake held regional vice president positions at both Columbia Management, Inc. and American Express Financial Advisors (Ameriprise), and at the latter firm he served in a variety of other capacities in the brokerage, separately managed account, mutual fund and annuity areas.
