Pangolin Launches New Educational Puzzle App for Kids

TEL AVIV, Israel, Feb. 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sea puzzle, the first game developed with the help of kids, is a fun educational app now available on iTunes to download and play on iPad and iPhone.
Sea-Puzzle, which introduces toddlers to ocean life through an exciting underwater adventure, was created by Pangolin, a studio specializing in creating non-competitive games. The app offers a virtual environment that promotes growth, challenge and teaches new skills rather than competition.
Parents and their young children were invited to Pangolin's magical studio to take an active part in creating the game. A child-developmental psychologist accompanied the whole process. Together with kids, the developers created a new puzzle mechanic which uses the advantages offered by touch screen mobile devices.
Children solve the adventurous puzzle by sliding different strips together to continue the submarine's journey and bring sea creatures to life. As kids dive into this musical fantasy, they will discover a world of colorful, friendly creatures.
While enjoying a fascinating journey in an animated underwater world, kids develop concentration, shape recognition, hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Sea Puzzle, which is ideal for kids aged 3 to 5, gained industry recognition when last month it took second place in the Toddler Games category at the prestigious GamesIS 2014 Awards.
