HOUSTON, Aug. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas) is pleased to announce Karen Love, Director, Practice Growth has been named one of 10 Women on the Move by Texas Executive Women.

During her more than 16 years in the accounting world, Love has been the mentor for many accounting marketers and has been honored as one of Accounting Today's 100 Most Influential People, a Marketer of the Year by the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) and was inducted into the AAM Hall of Fame in 2009. Love is a member of numerous advisory boards, boards of directors and committees for various local and national organizations. She was most recently recognized by Houston Woman Magazine as one of Houston's 50 Most Influential Women.

Love, together with her fellow 2011 Women on the Move honorees, will be celebrated at a Nov. 3 luncheon at the InterContinental Hotel for their exemplary professional activities and community service. Proceeds from the luncheon benefit the organization's scholarship and mentoring programs. Since the awards program began in 1985, 270 women have been honored and almost a quarter million dollars in scholarships have been funded.
