HOUSTON, June 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas) is pleased to announce Raissa Evans, Executive Manager, Practice Growth, has been named the 2011 Marketer of the Year by the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM) and CPA Practice Management Forum.  Next to the Hall of Fame, the Marketer of the Year award is the highest honor one can achieve in the field of accounting marketing.

In addition to her service on the national and local boards for AAM, Evans is co-chair of the Chapter Governance committee for the Houston Interactive Marketing Association (HiMA) Board, Chairwoman of the Annual BioHouston Chili Cook-off and a member of the Greater Houston Partnership's Emerging Women Leaders and Houston Young Professionals Endeavor (HYPE) committees. She is also a member of the planning committees for the Best CFOs in Houston, 40 Under 40, World Trade Soiree, and GHP Legislative Preview.
