BIRMINGHAM, Ala., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Panorama Public Relations today announced that its executive committee has approved an initiative to award quarterly grants to non-profit organizations, cities, towns or municipalities that have faced hardships and challenges and want to draw positive attention to their mission or cause. The service, or in-kind grants, range from $2,500 to $7,500 and are intended for any qualified organization or municipality in the United States.
"We recognize there are opportunities to help others using our time and talents. Giving back to those in need of our services to help raise awareness for their cause is at the heart of our company's guiding principles," said Panorama CEO Darlene Rotch.
Qualified applicants must be a registered 501c3 and governed by a board of directors. It must be able to demonstrate need for marketing to include strategy development, website or social media development, or media relations.
Populations of qualified cities, counties, or municipalities must not exceed 20,000. The entity must demonstrate a need such as negative effects of natural or manmade disasters, significant job losses or need for economic development awareness.
Grant deadlines are January 3, 2011; April 4, 2011; July 1, 2011; and October 3, 2011. Applicants must state in 750 words or less the need and impact, cooperative spirit between stakeholders, and whether or not grant in-kind services will be used as matching funds for other grants.
