Pantech And Pendrell Subsidiary Ink Digital Rights Management Technology Collaboration Agreement For Tablets And Phones

SEOUL, South Korea and KIRKLAND, Wash., Oct. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Pantech Corporation ("Pantech") and ContentGuard Holdings, Inc. ("ContentGuard"), a subsidiary of Pendrell Corporation (NASDAQ: PCO), announced today that they have entered into a technology collaboration agreement focused on digital rights management technologies. Under the agreement, the parties will collaborate to enhance the content experience on Pantech phones and tablets. The agreement also provides Pantech access to ContentGuard's digital rights management (DRM) technologies for the next five years.
