Movie-themed tours now offered with popular sightseeing pass
Visitors to Paris can enjoy a touch of big-screen glamour with the addition of two new movie-themed tours to the popular Paris Pass sightseeing card (http://www.parispass.com).
Following in the footsteps of world-famous stars and going behind the scenes at Europe's largest movie theatre, from 15 June Paris Pass holders will be able to immerse themselves in the world of French and international cinema.
'Set In Paris' Movie Tour
Starting in the famous Latin Quarter, this two-hour walking tour visits the real Paris locations that inspired classic French stories such as The Hunchback of Notre Dame and The Three Musketeers, as well as modern blockbusters like The Devil Wears Prada.
Along the way visitors will have a chance to discover Jason Bourne's hideout from The Bourne Identity, create their own classic Audrey Hepburn Funny Face pose at Paris' flower market, and even enjoy the best cupcakes in the city - with inside information on the upcoming film in which they star!
Normally €20 per person, the Set In Paris walking tour is included free of charge with the Paris Pass.
'Les Etoiles du Rex'
Take a backstage tour of the world-famous Grand Rex! With its 2,800-seater auditorium and 252 square-metre screen, this is Europe's biggest movie theatre and a French National Monument as well.
The tour begins inside a transparent, panoramic elevator that takes visitors behind the screen itself - and that's just the beginning. As it unfolds, they will discover a recreated classic projection room, a sumptuous Director's Office and an editing suite in which they can try their hand at doing a voiceover for a film clip. Normally €11 per person, Les Etoiles du Rex is included free with the Paris Pass.
The new tours join more than 60 of the city's top attractions available with the Paris Pass, including the Towers of Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Musée du Louvre and the Arc de Triomphe. A Paris Pass includes a Metro pass, giving visitors unlimited travel on the Metro, buses and RER express trains within central Paris, discounts on meals and shopping and priority access at the busiest sites to avoid queues - plus a free guidebook.
A two-day Paris Pass is priced at €122 for adults, €73 for teens (between 12 and 17 years) and €42 for a child (between four and 11 years). Four-day passes are priced at €182 for adults, with six-day passes at €219.

Visit the Palace of Versailles (€18), the Grevin Wax Museum (€23.50), the Pompidou Centre (€13) and the Louvre Museum (€12) and save €3.50 having visited just three attractions each day.
