Party City Holdco Inc. Files Registration Statement for Proposed Initial Public Offering of Common Stock

ELMSFORD, N.Y., Jan. 21, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Party City Holdco Inc. (the "Company"), indirect parent company of Party City Holdings Inc. ("Party City Holdings"), today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock.

The offering will consist of shares to be sold by the Company. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the proposed initial public offering principally to repay indebtedness. Certain selling stockholders may grant the underwriters the option to purchase additional shares, and the Company would not receive any proceeds from the sale of those shares.

A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective.  These securities may not be sold, nor may offers to buy be accepted, prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
