John McAuley has been named chief operating officer, and Eldon Richards will serve as vice president of engineering & technology services. Both McAuley and Richards will be based out of Orlando, Fla.

McAuley has more than three decades of healthcare experience in the medical technology and information technology sectors. Most recently, he was senior vice president of IT managed services for AllScripts, where he played a pivotal role in tripling the company's outsourcing business revenue. Previously, he served as Eclipsys's senior vice president for outsourcing, hosting and support, where he also was responsible for the launch of off-shore organizations that support these businesses in India.

Richards has a strong track record of managing software engineering organizations in rapid growth businesses. He spent 18 years with UnitedHealth Group in a variety of roles, most recently as vice president, software engineering at OptumInsight, where he was responsible for managing and maturing a large, geographically dispersed software engineering team with more than 600 product releases per year. Richards earned his MBA from the University of Minnesota – Carlson School of Management and his BS degree in computer science from the University of Utah.
