Patriot Gold's Moss Project Marks Official Opening of Pilot Plant Operations With Arizona Governor

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Patriot Gold Corp. (OTC: PGOL) or ("Patriot Gold"), a developing gold and silver exploration and production company, today announced that the Governor of Arizona, the Honorable Janice K. Brewer, marked the official opening of the Moss Mine Reactivation Project Pilot Plant during a ribbon cutting ceremony held in Bullhead City, Arizona on August 14, 2013.

The opening ceremony was also marked by the announcement that significant development milestones highlighted below have now been reached for the Phase I - Pilot Plant for the Moss Mine Gold-Silver Project located in the historic and active Oatman mining district near Bullhead City, Arizona.

• Construction on all major items for Phase I – Pilot Plant are completed.
• Operations are in full swing with the focus on completion of mining, crushing, agglomerating and stacking operations for the 90,000 tonnes planned in the Preliminary Economic Assessment.
• Leaching of the stacked mineralized material is also underway and will continue for the next 9-12 months with continual sampling and assaying of the leached material being performed.

The Moss Mine Project is located approximately seven miles due east of Bullhead City, Arizona. Patriot Gold is the 100% owner in the historic Moss Gold-Silver property located in Mohave County, Arizona, which is subject to certain royalties and an earn-in option agreement for 70% interest. The earn-in optionee/operator (Northern Vertex Corp.) has the right to earn a 70% interest in the project by completing an $8.5 million investment over five years and a bankable feasibility study. Subsequent to the earn-in, financing of the project will be on a proportional basis.
