Patriots' Brandon Tate Will Award $160K to Mastria Winners
RAYNHAM, Mass., Oct. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- New England Patriots Receiver Brandon Tate will be on hand to award contest winners $160,000 at Mastria Nissan in Raynham on October 26. Thanks to Tate's opening day kick-off return for a touchdown, 32 customers won $5,000 each.
Over Labor Day weekend, Mastria Auto Group ran a promotion that gave its customers a chance to win $5,000 if one of the New England Patriots returned an opening kick-off for a touchdown during the season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals. Any customer who purchased and took delivery of a new or pre-owned vehicle was eligible to win the promotion.
Entering the third quarter, the Patriots were leading 24-3 against the Bengals in their season opener. That's when Patriots second year receiver Brandon Tate took the second half kick-off 97-yards for a touchdown. Tate's touchdown helped the Patriots earn their first win of the season and gave $160,000 to 32 Mastria customers.
"I was so ecstatic when I learned that I won $5,000. I wasn't watching the game but my dad told me later that evening and I didn't believe him," said contest winner Adam Beadling.
"This promotion was certainly one of the most successful promotions in the 25 year history of our company," said Rick Mastria, President of Mastria Auto Group. "What a wonderful windfall for all the customers that participated in the promotion."
Tate will be at Mastria Nissan on Tuesday, October 26 from 6:30 - 8pm to meet the contest winners and to sign autographs. Mastria Nissan is located at 1305 New State Highway Route 44 Raynham, MA.
