Paul Bingham Joins EDR Group as Vice President, Trade and Global Logistics
BOSTON, May 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Economic Development Research Group, Inc. is proud to announce the hiring of Paul Bingham as Vice President, to head the firm's growing Trade and Logistics practice. Mr. Bingham brings a wide range of experience and depth in international trade analysis, economic forecasting and in-depth understanding of the factors influencing the rapidly changing global logistics challenges faced by businesses, ports, transportation service providers and governments. He joins EDR Group after serving as Economics Practice Leader at CDM Smith. Previously he was Managing Director for Global Commerce and Transportation at IHS Global Insight.
With the addition of Bingham to the firm's management team, the company will expand its already strong position of experience and skills assessing the impacts of freight infrastructure investments on supply chains, logistics and the entire economy. With his direction, EDR Group will be adding even more detail on domestic flows of traded commodities and international trade data to their existing product lines.
