NEW YORK, June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Novantas, Inc. announced today that Paul Halpern, former Senior Vice President of Product and Marketing for Capital One, will join the Firm as Managing Director. Halpern will lead banking consulting projects on marketing mix, digital marketing, and sales.

In joining Novantas, Halpern brings over a decade of experience in results-driven marketing roles at leading financial organizations. Halpern joined Capital One in 2011 to oversee the integration of ING/Sharebuilder, for which he delivered the company's brokerage strategy and developed a customer-centric, integrated product and marketing strategy. His accomplishments at Sharebuilder also include leading the business's customer experience initiatives and refining the core product offerings to significantly grow average balance per new account. He had worked at Capital One previously, from 1995-2000, serving as Director of Marketing and Analysis in the New Business Development Division.
In addition to his work at Capital One, Halpern was the Executive Vice President of Product Marketing and Site Marketing at E*Trade, where he developed strategies to enhance customer experience, acquisition, engagement, and site optimization. Halpern has also served in senior marketing positions at JP Morgan Chase. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University.
