PaySpan partners with HealthTrio and Monument Systems for integrated consumer portal, claim adjudication and reimbursement solutions
Innovative partnership offers more efficient approach to reduce administrative costs
TUCSON, Ariz., Oct. 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PaySpan®, Inc., the leading provider of health care reimbursement and payment automation services, today announced that it is partnering with industry leaders HealthTrio LLC and Monument Systems LLC to offer for the first time an integrated solution that includes portal, claims adjudication system and reimbursement solutions.
PaySpan's reimbursement platform will complement and extend the capabilities of HealthTrio's portal and Monument Systems' claims adjudication system to help managed care organizations, self-funded TPAs, health insurance exchanges and marketplaces to reduce administrative costs while more efficiently engaging with providers, payers and consumers.
The partnership will also enable participating payers to more quickly and seamlessly comply with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) Core Phase III operating rules for Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT). The announcement was made at the HealthTrio and Monument Systems Annual User Group Conference in Tucson.

The reimbursement functionality includes health and supplemental benefits for wellness programs, while the payments capabilities in the portal include premium bill presentment and payment from PaySpan's Patient Centered Financial Home® (PCFH®) member engagement solution.
PaySpan's turnkey electronic provider payments platform enables managed care organizations, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), exchanges and marketplaces to meet the CAQH requirements without having to invest in significant enhancements or modifications to existing systems. Through this partnership, PaySpan's reimbursement network will engage consumers in their healthcare decisions, and reduce provider collection efforts often associated with increases in patient responsibility amounts.
