
PBN President Jud Neal Appointed as VP of 2012 HBMA Board

OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Jan. 9, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Jud Neal was recently elected Vice President/President-Elect of the 2012 HBMA Executive Board. Jud will serve a one-year term as Vice President, his seventh as a member of the HBMA Board of Directors. Jud will be one of 13 members elected to the board and one of four executive members. The board is elected by HBMA members, who are collectively responsible for nearly 30% of all physician services billing in the U.S.
"Through its resources, events, and programs as well as its advocacy work in Washington, HBMA provides its members unique information and insight into the ever-changing legislation and regulatory issues related to physician reimbursement," said Neal. In past years, Jud has also served on the HBMA Executive Committee as Treasurer, as Vice Chairman of both the Education and Certification Committees, and continues to play an active role on the Government Relations Committee.
