TULSA, Okla., Oct. 24, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Peak UpTime (Peak), a leading mid-sized provider of networked IT services serving Oklahoma and surrounding states, today announced that it has teamed up with network provider Extreme Networks to roll the "Network Liberation" Truck Tour in Oklahoma, featuring a fully-customized 18-wheel semi-truck built to showcase intelligent networking solutions for data centers, campuses, mobility, and video surveillance.
Peak UpTime is hosting two truck stops with Extreme Networks, on Friday will be at its headquarters in Tulsa (from 8am to 12pm) and Saturday it will be tailgating at the Oklahoma State vs. TCU football game in Stillwater. Both events are open to all those interested in network technology to come enjoy food, refreshments and the hands-on experience of high speed data networks including the cloud, SDN and mobility.
The tour provides an interactive and engaging way to better educate customers and let them experience real solutions hands-on. The truck combines elements of an Executive Briefing Center (EBC), an interactive classroom, and lounge. It features 1,200 square feet of space to showcase next generation technologies. Demonstration areas on the truck will provide customers with hands-on exposure to the latest innovations with a touchscreen presentation board, and breakout meeting areas.
"Peak UpTime's support of Extreme Networks Liberation Tour allows Oklahoma to get to know us and experience the full range of our technology first hand," said Theresa Caragol, Global VP, channels and partners at Extreme Networks. "This interactive approach enables Peak UpTime to engage customers to experience our technology with a hands-on approach to learning, not often possible via online or web-based venues."
"It is critical that we help our customers understand how the latest solutions are designed to assist them in obtaining long-term IT and business goals as technology continues to evolve," said Gordon Martin, president and CEO at Peak UpTime.
