Pediatrics In Texas Transforms Overnight With Pediamed Opening Five Additional Locations

EL PASO, Texas, Oct. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The face of pediatrics in Texas will be transformed this fall when Pediamed Pediatric Night Clinics opens up five additional after hours pediatric care locations to serve parents and their sick children. The new clinics will be located in El Paso and in North Texas. These additional locations will provide the opportunity for working parents to bring their children in for care and not have to take time off from work. In addition, the clinics will help the state as a whole, by reducing the traffic of non-urgent visits to the emergency room.

In North Texas, Pediamed has entered into a contractual relationship with Parkland Community Health Plan in providing acute care to their Medicaid and CHIP members, representing close to 200,000 enrolled members within Dallas County.
