PEEPS & COMPANY® D.C. MONUMENTAL WEEKEND

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., Oct. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PEEPS & COMPANY^®, Just Born, Inc.'s retail division, is kicking off its D.C. MONUMENTAL WEEKEND at its National Harbor store on Friday, October 7th at 4 pm. PEEPS & COMPANY^®'s D.C. MONUMENTAL WEEKEND will usher in the fall season with delicious free treats, mascot appearances, coupons from neighboring retailers and chances for savings on some great new store items.  On Saturday and Sunday, PEEPS & COMPANY^® Brand Ambassadors will take the Peepster Chick Car on a tour of D.C. and the monuments, spreading sweetness around town.

NATIONAL HARBOR PEEPS & COMPANY^® KICK OFF EVENT DETAILS:

• 4-6 pm, Friday, October 7th
• Free Rita's Italian Ice samples.
• Free Build-a-Bear coupons.
• PEEPS®, HOT TAMALES® and Bowie Baysox mascot appearances.

PEEPS & COMPANY^® D.C. MONUMENTAL WEEKEND:

• Saturday and Sunday, October 8-9th, 9 am-5 pm, the Peepster will tour Washington D.C. and visit the historic monuments.
• Brand ambassadors will connect with new and established fans to sample candy, give away merchandise, hand out store coupons and take photos that can be downloaded from facebook.

  • Botanical Gardens – 4:30 pm
  • National Gallery of Art - 6:00 pm
  • Sculpture Garden – 7:00 pm
