PEER 1 Hosting Appoints New Vice President of Sales

VANCOUVER, May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - PEER 1 Hosting, Inc. (TSX:PIX), a global online IT hosting provider, today announced it has appointed Jay Newman to the position of Vice President of Sales. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in sales and sales leadership, Newman will play a pivotal role in shaping the continued growth of PEER 1 Hosting.

In this brand new position at PEER 1 Hosting, Jay Newman will be responsible for the direction and management of all sales activities for the company and will be based in San Antonio, TX.

Prior to this role, he was Vice President of Enterprise Field Sales at Rackspace Hosting, where he directed a new sales segment for hosting services into midsize to Fortune 500 companies, and prior to that spent several years with EMC Corporation.
