PEI Worldwide Holdings Forms Strategic Alliance With D.C. Associates, LLC

PLANO, Texas, April 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PEI Worldwide Holdings (Pink Sheets: PEIW) is pleased to announce that a strategic alliance has been established with D.C. Associates, LLC (DCA), a government affairs and business consulting firm that provides strategic advice to businesses, universities, not-for profits and local governments on matters of public policy and strategy.  The firm specializes in the emergency management, homeland security, defense, transportation, and energy industries at the Federal, state and local level. PEI Worldwide Holdings believes this alliance will strengthen its representation in the global construction market as well as establish a voice in domestic policy and government applications.  

Through the work of D.C. Associates, PEI and its suite of building products has been introduced to representatives from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and other federal agencies with military construction, and disaster recovery responsibilities.  Ultimately, it is the goal of this alliance that one or several of these agencies could utilize certain PEI Worldwide green building products to meet the Administration's goals of reducing our carbon footprint through the use of these building materials.

D.C. Associates is also assisting PEI with introductions to major construction and engineering firms in the U.S. to acquaint the industry with THURA-Block and other PEI products.  This would include extensive construction projects for relocated military personnel and returning vets from Iraq and Afghanistan.  PEI's goal is to play a major role in rewriting the definition of green building materials, allowing PEI to be at the forefront of military construction projects.  As the company has mentioned before, and so it will remain at the forefront of our humanitarian efforts, we will be bringing returning disabled vets into the PEI workforce and seek to do all we can to place them in work projects throughout the world.  We fully and gratefully support our foundational partners, Work-4-Life and Green Things, Inc.
