Pentagon Federal Credit Union Moves Investment Program to CUSO Financial Services

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS), a full-service broker dealer and SEC Registered Investment Adviser that provides customized investment and insurance solutions to credit unions, has returned PenFed (Pentagon Federal Credit Union) to its roster of investment program clients. PenFed previously offered its investment program through CFS for eight years, but moved briefly to another broker dealer to support other business ventures. After just one and a half years, the credit union has chosen to move back to CFS for the management and support that brought its earlier successes.

PenFed Invest will become a managed program with CFS, meaning the program manager and investment advisors are employed and managed by CFS. They recently hired several advisors, with the goal to reach 10 advisors by year end.

• The Financial Management Center, an online referral tool, which will provide members the opportunity to generate a high level view of their progress toward a wide range of investment goals as well as make an online connection with PenFed Invest advisors.
