The Attorney General suit addresses state rights, which is within their mandate as Attorney General. It is the job of Attorney Generals to protect states rights as written under the tenth amendment. However, the suit filed today by PeopleV.US addresses individual rights as stated mainly in the first ten amendments to the Constitution commonly known as the Bill of Rights. Tony Dane, Chairman of PeopleV.US stated, "Congress did not look to the Constitution before passage of this act. We need to hold our elected official feet to the fire in defending the only document that protects us from government controlling our lives."
PeopleV.US is a non profit organization that was set up for the sole purpose of defending the Constitution against those law makers who have created legislation that violate the document they have taken an oath to uphold. This suit not only addresses the commerce clause, but freedom of religion, due process, and the rights of the people all of which the Patients Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) violates.
This lawsuit is funded by concerned citizens all over the United States who contributed by joining www.PeopleV.US for only $25.00.
Although the current plaintiffs are all from the state of Nevada, anyone who disagrees with ObamaCare can join the suit, or for a copy of the suit go to www.PeopleV.US.
