(Nasdaq: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or the "Company"), a leading online game developer and operator based in China, today announced it will launch the open beta testing for its first 2D real-time MMORPG "Dragon Excalibur" on October 28, 2010.

Developed by one of Perfect World's Shanghai R&D teams, "Dragon Excalibur" is the Company's first 2D real-time MMORPG to run on a brand new game engine. Featuring lustrous visual effects, clan battles that blend Eastern and Western fighting styles, diversified pet systems, and innovative classes and skills, "Dragon Excalibur" is set to give players a stunning gaming experience. Perfect World has also invited popular Taiwanese singer, Mr. Shin, to be the game's ambassador.
