Performance Trust Capital Partners Expands Institutional Sales Group with Addition of Craig Buchner

CHICAGO, Feb. 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Performance Trust Capital Partners is pleased to announce the addition of Craig Buchner to its Institutional Sales group, further expanding its expertise in Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and Asset-Backed Securities (ABS). This strategic hire is part of the firm's ongoing initiative to enhance its capabilities in these areas, a focus that began in 2023 with key hires to strengthen its CLO and ABS teams.

Craig Buchner brings nearly 20 years of capital markets experience, having spent 16 years at GFI Securities and most recently at RBC Capital Markets. In his new role, Craig will work across all products on Performance Trust's platform, with a primary focus on CLOs and ABS.

Over the past two years, Performance Trust has bolstered its presence in these markets. In mid-2023, the firm welcomed Alex Navin, Jared Gogek, and Dustin Moy from Crosspoint Capital to lead its CLO sales and trading efforts. That same year, Dave Bell and John Lennon joined from Robert W. Baird to develop the firm's ABS platform. Most recently, in Q4 2024, Paul Limanni, Ben Blatt, and Gregg Davis were hired from Pagaya, further solidifying Performance Trust's commitment to these sectors. Since these strategic additions, the firm has seen substantial growth in trading volume across CLOs and ABS.
