PetroKamchatka Plc (TSXV: PKP) announces Resignation of Director

ST. HELIER, JERSEY, Sept. 10, 2012 /CNW/ - PetroKamchatka Plc ("PetroKamchatka" or the "Corporation"), an international junior oil exploration company incorporated in the Bailiwick of Jersey, announces that Dr. Vyacheslav Pershukov has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Corporation. Pursuant to the recently released Government of the Russian Federation Decree #841 "On Compliance by the Employees of State-owned Companies to Article 349.1 of the Labour Code of the Russian Federation", Dr. Pershukov, who is currently employed as Deputy General Director and Head of Scientific and Technical Complex at ROSATOM (Russia's State Nuclear Power Concern), can no longer hold any position in public companies.

PetroKamchatka would like to thank Dr. Pershukov for his contributions over the last few months and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

The Corporation will seek a replacement for Dr. Pershukov on the Board of Directors.
