IPEC-Americas gala dinner will be the featured event during ExcipientFest 2016 at The Grand, a spectacular historic venue, just a few blocks away from the ExcipientFest Conference at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore, MD, April 25 – 27. The splendid celebration will include music, stories, and special recognition of volunteers who have helped IPEC-Americas become a globally recognized and respected trade association.
IPEC-Americas is the only worldwide pharmaceutical industry organization that has embraced harmonization of drug approval and pharmacopoeial standards for excipients as part of its mission. This non-profit organization has respected relationships with key stakeholders responsible for standard setting and enforcement of medicines, such as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and US Pharmocopeia (USP).

In association with IPEC, ExcipientFest features a 2-day exposition with over 40 exhibitors, multiple half-day workshops, over 20 in-depth educational sessions and a Speakers Roundtable consisting of top industry personalities. The event also highlights the presentation of many academic research posters.
Experts from around the world and from principal regulatory agencies like FDA, USP and NSF International, the public health and safety organization, will present topics including innovative drug applications, quality and regulatory standards, biotechnology, and experiment design.
