Phi Iota Alpha Wins NALFO Fraternity of the Year
ATLANTA, April 22, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc. won the prestigious NALFO Fraternal Organization of the Year award at NALFO's annual business meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. Winners were announced at the recent NALFO awards banquet this past weekend. Also, Brother Dr. Juan "Varadero" Guardia was elected as NALFO Chairman & Brother Alex "Genesis" Yepes will serve as the Northeast Regional Vice Chair for the 2011-2013 term.
In addition, Phi Iota Alpha swept the awards, winning more than any other NALFO fraternity, including:
- National Philanthropic Organization
- Organizational Leadership Excellence (Francisco Lugo)
- Professional of the Year (Francisco Lugo)
These awards are the culmination of several years of effort and strategic initiatives that our members and leadership have undertaken to strengthen the bonds of fellowship.
