In addition to red carpet arrivals, a cocktail reception, dinner, presentation by Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Earl Campbell, and special musical performances by Montebello High School Freshman Choir, this year's event will feature special tributes to two honorees:
- David E.I. Pyott, Chairman of the Board, President & CEO, Allergan, Inc., for his accomplishments in transforming Allergan into a global specialty pharmaceutical and medical device company, and philanthropic leadership through The Allergan Foundation, which has been responsible for granting more than $30 million to charitable organizations and improving communities where Allergan employees live and work.
- Leigh Steinberg, renowned Sports Agent and Lawyer, for his achievements in sports representation and contributions to humanitarian causes, which includes setting the standard for hundreds of athletes to serve as positive role models who give back to their communities. His influence has resulted in more than $800 million donated to hundreds of charities and scholarships nationwide.
Each year, "Triumph for Teens" celebrates the victories of young people over substance abuse and honors entertainment and business leaders for inspiring them to make positive life decisions. It is an evening of recognition for adolescents who have learned the lessons of honesty, responsibility, and concern for others on their road to recovery. This year's event not only commemorates the gala's 10th anniversary, but the 45th anniversary of Phoenix House.
Proceeds from the event will provide critical support to at-risk teens to develop the tools and skills necessary to regain their sense of self worth. This further enables them to make up their education lost to drugs, develop positive attitudes and values, come to grips with the underlying causes of their addictions, and go on to lead healthy and productive lives.
Individual tickets are $500 and special sponsorship packages are available. To reserve a sponsorship opportunity or to purchase tickets, please visit the online Triumph for Teens Registration Page.
