Photo & Imaging Shanghai 2012 Kicking Off From July 5

SHANGHAI, July 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Photo & Imaging Shanghai 2012, one of the largest and most influential photo and imaging exhibitions in China and the Asia Pacific region, is scheduled to be held at the Shanghai World EXPO Exhibition & Convention Center from July 5th to 8th, 2012. This exhibition has attracted 185 well-known domestic and foreign vendors, such as Canon, Fujifilm, Manfrotto, Sigma, Epson, Lucky, Benro, Jinbei, Jufude, Pinse, Phottix and Yongnuo, from eight countries and regions, including Japan, South Korea, Britain, Singapore, Malaysia, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The event will showcase equipment including Nikon cameras and the Konica Minolta digital printing press. The exhibition will be co-hosted by China's Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Shanghai Sub-Council, China's Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Shanghai Chamber of Commerce, the China Information Industry Trade Association Digital Image Committee, the Shanghai Photographers' Association and Shanghai International Exhibition Co., Ltd, and organized by Shanghai International Exhibition Service Corp.

The exhibition will show the latest photography and imaging technologies through a refined layout

With rapid development of digital technology, the appearance of digital photography and digital imaging has resulted in changes in production mode, aesthetic pattern and viewing approach. The exhibition will comprehensively exhibit devices, products, technologies and services in image input, camera parts and accessories, photography appliances and consumables, image storage, image processing, image output and digital imaging. The refined booth layout will not only benefit for the new product releases and brand promotion, but provide visual and touch experiences for visitors. No. 1 hall will exhibit various new products and technologies, such as Sigma SD1 Merrill, the world's only 46 megapixel DSLR featuring the complete-color sensor ceremoniously launched by Japan-based Sigma, the integrated imaging solution from photo shooting to photo and album output of Fujifilm and Sympla platform control system and others introduced by Italian company Manfrotto.
