Photo-Driven Real Estate Platform Househappy.org Secures $1.5 Million in Series A Financing

PORTLAND, Ore., Nov. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Househappy.org, a global photo-driven real estate platform, announced today that it has secured $1.5 million in funding led by Jeff Greenberg, Senior VP Electronic Media and Director at SKECHERS USA, Inc. The capital will be used to expand Househappy's growing team and further its development of new products and services for buyers, brokers, and sellers. This funding is in addition to the $1 million seed round Househappy received previously from angel investors.

Launched in March 2013, Househappy is a free, user-generated platform for buyers, sellers, and brokers to search and post property for sale. Househappy was recently featured as one of HousingWire's 2013 RETech:50, the top 50 firms deemed "most likely to have an impact on the real estate transaction in the next 12 months."
