Physicians Endoscopy Acquires Majority Ownership in ACCESS Surgery Center

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J., Dec. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians Endoscopy, LLC (PE), along with the Physicians of Atlantic Gastro SurgiCenter, LLC, known as ACCESS Surgery Center, are pleased to announce that on November 1, 2016, the two organizations finalized a joint venture relationship. PE acquired a majority interest in ACCESS Surgery Center, making this their 42nd ASC and fifth partnership in the state. 

ACCESS Surgery Center, acquired by Physicians Endoscopy, is a four room ambulatory surgery center with two procedure rooms and two operating rooms, performing over 12,500 procedures annually.  The multi-specialty center is certified by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and licensed by the NJ Department of Health. ACCESS provides predominately gastroenterology and pain management services. Specialties such as podiatry, urology, and general surgery along with infusion services are also offered. The Center currently has eight Physician owners along with 35 other physician providers practicing at the center.
