Physicians Interactive Holdings Names Brett Miller President of Healthcare Professional Division to Drive Business Forward in 2011 and Beyond

MARLBOROUGH, Mass., Nov. 18, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Physicians Interactive Holdings LLC (PIH), a leading provider of health care information and mobile clinical decision tools to medical professionals, announced today that Brett Miller has been named President of the company's healthcare professional division, as well as additional leadership changes across the organization, effective immediately. The changes reflect PIH's goal and vision to empower medical professionals everywhere to deliver the highest quality patient care with instant access to solutions and information.

Brett Miller will assume the role of President of PIH's mobile division, Skyscape. In addition to his current physician marketing responsibilities, Miller will develop and execute on e-commerce strategies that create a user experience (both on the Web and Mobile) that is second to none in an effort to become a clinician centric organization. Miller brings more than 20 years of business experience, including 10 years in marketing and Internet leadership roles including General Manager of Sephora.com, Chief Marketing Officer of FX Solutions and Director of Gap Brand Strategy.

• Sandeep Shah will become the Chief Content Officer in addition to his Chief Innovation Officer role. In his new role, Shah will continue to drive forward the company's content and mobile efforts, market research, and explore and develop innovative ways to present current and next-phase of products, content and service offers to clinicians. He will also review potential acquisition opportunities that complement the company's strategy and goals moving forward.  Shah, a member of the PIH Board of Directors, is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (Mumbai) and founder of Skyscape.  Today, Shah is widely recognized as a veteran innovator and visionary of mobile technology used by physicians and healthcare professionals around the world.

• Marlene Galante will join the executive leadership team in a new role as General Manager, Academic Centers, Associations, and Centers of Professional Excellence. In her new role, Galante will assume P&L responsibility for institutional sales and marketing. She will also be responsible for academic societies and e-guides to expand the company's healthcare provider customer base including nursing schools, academic institutions, and students in healthcare curricula. Galante is a seasoned and expert team leader and eMarketing professional, having served the pharmaceutical, chemical, and managed care industries in a variety of capacities for more than three decades.
