Piaggio Group Americas Partners with Invoke to Build Powerful Social Applications

NEW YORK, April 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Invoke Media has been hired by Piaggio Group Americas (PGA), the North American importer of iconic Italian motorcycle and motor scooter brands Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Piaggio and Vespa, to help power its interactive marketing strategy focused on increasing leads to drive product sales volume to its dealers. Through this relationship, Invoke will build a series of digital applications that support PGA's scooter and motorcycle product lines. The applications will harness dialogue, help build consumer product awareness and convey product benefits to encourage a growth in consumer enthusiasm and product knowledge for these exciting modes of transportation.

Invoke's most recent project for PGA included a microsite and Facebook application for its Aprilia USA brand, Aprilia Masters. The Aprilia Masters projects invite motorcycle riders to get more familiar with the brand and its award-winning sport bikes through a series of digital interactions that engage and enhance the overall customer experience, including a test ride tour and using game mechanics that feature the new Aprilia Tuono V4 APRC, the most powerful naked sportbike on the market with the goal of driving prospective customers to sign up for a test drive at Local Dealers.Invoke also worked with PGA's Vespa brand during the Spring 2012 Fashion Week in New York City.  The program included a Facebook application and contest that highlighted the Kate Spade Spring 2012 collection and Vespa LX 50s. The program generated a significant increase in targeted leads for Vespa dealers throughout the United States.
