DALLAS, Sept. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- First, Pie Five Pizza Co. revolutionized the way pizza is ordered, prepared and enjoyed. Now the fast-casual concept plans to do the same for another American favorite, with the debut of its five flavors of crispy craft wings.
Served traditional or boneless, Pie Five is taking a different approach to wings, by pairing each flavor with a perfectly matched crunchy topping. Guests can now savor:
- Buffalo with Ranch Chips
- BBQ with Fried Onions
- Teriyaki with Crushed Wasabi Peas
- Sweet Red Chili with Crispy Red Peppers
- Garlic Parmesan with Parmesan Crisps
Talk about some dynamic duos! And now that your mouth is officially watering, you'll be happy to know that the wings are available for dine-in and delivery.
"We know our guests come back on a regular basis to enjoy their favorite made-from-scratch pizzas, but we also like to keep our menu fresh and exciting by adding new dishes that we know will be a hit," said Christina Coy, vice president of marketing for Pie Five Pizza Co. "We listened to consumer feedback and did some research into what would pair best with our popular pizzas and we all agreed on wings. From there, our talented chefs ran with the idea, and the rest is culinary history!"
The wings are currently offered at three Pie Five locations – two in Texas and one in Oklahoma – with plans to expand to all locations system-wide by mid-year 2018. The restaurants now serving wings include –

The new wings, delivery and online ordering initiatives are part of the Pie Five concept refinement process driven by Rave Restaurant Group, Inc. CEO Scott Crane. Just last month, Crane introduced a new Pie Five prototype that includes a revamped interior, logo and menu in Plano, Texas. The next-generation design also offers wine and craft beer on tap.
Pie Five's fast-casual concept provides guests with a fully customizable experience from start to finish. With more than 40 fresh toppings, seven savory sauces and four made-from-scratch crusts, there's a delicious pairing to match every guest's preference. Pie Five also accommodates dietary restrictions by offering gluten-free crust and vegan cheese options.
