Prior to joining Pinstripe, Calkins was the director of Global Talent Acquisition for Starbucks Coffee Company where she led the talent acquisition team for the 160,000-employee global organization. Calkins joined Starbucks while CEO Howard Schultz was implementing an organization-wide transformation agenda, and was immersed in change management leadership. During her three-year tenure, Calkins was directly involved in leading her team through the changes in the employment branding marketplace and talent landscape resulting from the economic crisis. This included managing through the changing business needs associated with Starbucks' first-ever corporate layoffs, immediately followed by tremendous rapid rebound growth.
Previously, Calkins held the position of vice president, Recruiting Operations and Client Services for CRI, a premier, global recruitment process outsourcing provider. Calkins was a member of the original team and worked directly with the CEO in building the company during the nascent stage of RPO, into a pure-play RPO provider.
Since her tenure at CRI, Calkins has kept an eye on the RPO industry and followed Pinstripe's growth.
