Pioneer® Surgical Announces New International Sales V.P.

MARQUETTE, Mich., March 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tom McLeer, GM of Spine and Chief Marketing Officer for Pioneer Surgical, with corporate headquarters located in Marquette, MI, announces the appointment of Jim St. John to the position of Vice President International Sales.

Jim has 25 years of experience in the spine industry; he lived in Europe for over 12 years and speaks 5 languages.  Jim last worked for Benvenue Medical where he had the role of Vice President Worldwide Sales & Marketing. Before that he worked for Zimmer Spine and Abbott Spine, with his last position located in Europe where he was the GM of Zimmer Spine SA (Bordeaux, France) and VP of Zimmer Spine EMEA.  While with Zimmer Spine, he had sales, marketing and general management responsibilities and was instrumental in developing their international strategy and distribution channels.  Twice during his time with Zimmer Spine he led the integration of multiple distribution channels as a result of mergers.
