ASSONET, Mass., July 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Piping Systems, Inc. (PSI), a leading mechanical contractor and piping solutions provider in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, has expanded their service offerings to include electrical and millwright capabilities.

To accommodate the new service offerings, Piping Systems has recently hired Victor Silva, who will serve as the company's new electrical and millwright technician. Silva has more than 15 years of millwright experience in addition to 30 years of electrical experience. He holds a Master and Journeyman's Electrical license in Massachusetts and a Journeyman's license in Rhode Island.

Because Silva is a master electrician, Piping Systems will also be able to handle water flow testing – a part of their current fire protection testing services – without their customers having to arrange to have a fire alarm technician on site during testing.

"We don't want to be viewed just as a vendor," said Lally. "We want to be a partner and solutions provider to our customers. The addition of Victor and the capabilities he adds to our business will only help solidify that commitment to our customers. He's already working on a few projects for our clients with the goal of starting out small to help where we can. Over the next few months we'll steadily increase our electrical and millwright services to much larger projects for our customers."
