Piretti Golf Becomes First Putter to Win Both FedEx Cup and Race to Dubai Championship

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Nov. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Piretti Golf recorded another victory and made history when Henrik Stenson became the first man, and Piretti the first putter, to win the Race to Dubai and FedEx Cup in the same year. Stenson won the World Tour Championship by six shots in Dubai. With this win, Stenson also won The Race to Dubai Championship.

The victory in Dubai was Henrik's first on the European Tour this year and caps an amazing year for Stenson, who 12 months ago, was ranked outside the world's top 100 and now ranks number 3 in the world.

Stenson is the first Piretti Pro to win The Race to Dubai Championship and did so with his custom limited edition Piretti Cottonwood II.

The custom Piretti Putter was co-designed by Henrik Stenson and Piretti Founder, Mike Johnson. Based off the Piretti Cottonwood II, the design included a longer neck and less toe hang than the Cottonwood II, but retained the traditional Piretti design.
