An online marketing professional focused on SEO, mobile search, strategic planning, e-commerce marketing and cross-channel integration, Chavez is known for developing search strategies for Fortune 500 clients in the financial services, e-retail, publishing, CPG and pharmaceutical sectors, among others.

He began his career more than 15 years ago as a business development volunteer in the Peace Corps where he was assigned to Zaporozhye State Technical University and Zaporozhye Institute of Economics as a marketing instructor in Zaporozhye, Ukraine.
After the Peace Corps, he joined Deqor.com as director of marketing and from there moved over to ConocoPhillips as business development manager. In 2001, Chavez became online marketing manager for CEA Study Abroad and then in 2003 director of eCommerce for ActiveForever.com. In 2006, he left to join iCrossing, a subsidiary of Hearst Corp., where he began as an SEO Strategist and became Director of SEO. In 2010 he joined PM Digital where he became VP of SEO.
