A Technically Ambitious, Fully Suspended LED Sculpture Blends Storytelling, Engineering, and Interactive Design in the Milken Institute's Historic Headquarters

Suspended 45 feet above the building's main lobby, this installation showcases PixelFLEX's expertise in delivering complex, architecturally integrated LED solutions. The sculptural display consists of custom triangular LED cabinets, each with mirrored finishes and ultra-fine 1.9mm pixel pitch tiles, designed to display dynamic, user-generated content based on real-time visitor interaction. The installation is fully visible from both the lobby floor and balcony above, with pixel mapping tailored to each viewpoint.

"From cable routing within the structure to the fin-by-fin pixel orientation and mapping, every step demanded precise coordination and execution, especially in a heritage building where load and visibility requirements added layers of complexity."
