HOUSTON, April 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Pannell Kerr Forster of Texas, P.C. (PKF Texas) Director of Practice Growth, Karen Love, has been named as one of 23 honorary co-chairs for A Celebration of Entrepreneurs, the annual Houston Technology Center Gala.

The event honors local entrepreneurs that have made a significant impact on the region's economy. This year's featured honoree is Mr. Vijay Goradia, Chairman of Vinmar International Ltd.  Additionally, Lifetime Achievement awards will be presented recognizing four different sectors: Aerospace - Tom Short, CEO, Anadarko; Energy - James Calaway, Director of Wind Development, Pattern Energy Group; IT – Leland Putterman, CEO, Acorn Systems, Inc.; and Life Sciences – David McWilliams, Chairman, BioHouston.

This year's gala will be held on Thursday, May 16 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston.
