Today, Planet Fitness, one of the largest and fastest-growing franchisors and operators of fitness centers in the United States, announced an exciting milestone with the recent opening of its 100th club in New York State located in Brooklyn at 1245 Fulton Street in Bed-Stuy.
The first Planet Fitness club in New York opened in July 2004. The brand has aggressively expanded throughout the state with the help of its passionate franchise partners, and by the end of 2010, had 53 locations. Since then, Planet Fitness has nearly doubled its presence in the state with 100 locations today, 36 of which are located in the five boroughs of New York City.
