PLANTPURE NATION to be Released on DVD and VOD

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the success of the theatrical release in over one hundred cities in the U.S. and Canada, PLANTPURE NATION will be available for at home purchase and download.  Brainstorm Media has acquired the digital and broadcast rights to the film, and will release the film on demand everywhere November 17.

The DVD is currently available for pre-orders exclusively on the PLANTPURE NATION website and will be begin shipping on November 21^st.

The documentary film PLANTPURE NATION tells the story of three people on a quest to spread the message of one of the most important health breakthroughs of all time.  After renowned nutritional scientist and bestselling author T. Colin Campbell (The China Study, Forks Over Knives), gives a stirring speech on the floor of the Kentucky House of Representatives, his son, Nelson, and Kentucky State Representative Tom Riner work together to propose a pilot program documenting the health benefits of a plant-based diet.

The team behind PLANTPURE NATION is leveraging the passionate response to the film to launch an international network of local groups committed to spreading the message of plant-based nutrition.  Called "Pods," these groups have been formed in over 140 cities, primarily in the U.S. but also in several other countries around the world.   PlantPure, Inc. and the non-profit PlantPure Nation Foundation will work together to support these groups.
