PLS Hosts Spring Prospect, Property & Capital Fair in Houston
Show follows successful December oil & gas event with 135 booths and record attendance
HOUSTON, March 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PLS Inc. is proud to announce its next Dealmakers Prospect & Property Expo will be May 2, 2011, at the Hilton Americas Downtown Hotel in Houston, TX. This one-day oil and gas event brings industry buyers and sellers together for a productive day of networking and deal shopping. If PLS' December Expo was an indicator, this event should see more than 135 exhibitors and upwards of 1,000 attendees.

The Dealmakers Prospect & Property Expo is a unique forum for showing, viewing and discussing current energy deals on the market. Participants will be able to browse a broad range of opportunities, including conventional deals, unconventional resource prospects, producing properties, waterfloods, seismic data, acreage, farmouts, royalties and overrides.
Prospective oil & gas resource acreage in the Bakken, Barnett, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, Marcellus, Niobrara and Cana-Woodford shale plays will be shown along with conventional 3D prospects in South Texas (Yegua, Wilcox), East Texas (low-risk Cotton Valley, Travis Peak or Deep Bossier) and the Permian Basin. There will also be producing properties for sale across the U.S., onshore and offshore. Also registered for booths are a number of capital providers, financial advisors and investment firms.
PLS has an established track record for hosting oil & gas deal events, having launched the original prospect exposition in the 1980s and then expanded on the concept with its Dealmaker Expos in the 1990s. This year three (3) such PLS events are scheduled including: the Spring show in Houston May 2, a Summer Expo in Dallas July 19, and a Fall event back in Houston, October 13.
The oil & gas industry is buzzing with change. High oil prices are reviving investment in what were marginal properties. New technologies allow more resource extraction. Big foreign companies have begun picking up large stakes in North American shale plays. The pace of activity is accelerating and Dealmaker Expos offer a quick and easy way for buyers and sellers to connect for timely transactions.
