NEW YORK, Feb. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and survey utility leader Plum Voice experienced record growth again in 2011—the company's best year ever.
In 2011, Plum's cloud-based (hosted) IVR service, premise-based systems and telephone survey platform fueled record sales. The company's combined service offering and focus on improved phone-call automation rates for businesses yielded 70 new enterprise clients and a customer retention rate of 99 percent.
"Plum continues to grow every year, and 2011 was no exception," said Plum CEO Andy Kuan. "Plum achieved a 20-percent growth in revenues, which we're very excited about. To support our growth, we also expanded our infrastructure."
To handle the company's growth, Plum is opening a fourth data center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The new data center will increase Plum's overall capacity while adding greater redundancy and disaster-recovery capabilities for customers with mission-critical IVR needs.
