PODS® business growth calls for addition of 200 new career opportunities

CLEARWATER, Fla., March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PODS® Enterprises, Inc., a national leader in the moving and storage industry, is growing and announced its plans to add more than 200 full-time, permanent call center representatives and other positions at its corporate headquarters in Clearwater, Fla. by springtime.

The company began its recruiting efforts last fall to help service the increasing demand for its moving and storage services. Last fall, 150 full-time customer service positions were filled. The additional 200 positions of customer service and sales representative positions for 2013 will work in PODS' call center by assisting current and potential customers with their moving and storage needs.

"We continue to see an increased demand for PODS moving and storage services and that has required us to increase our staffing levels," said Lisa Goettel, senior vice president of PODS' Human Resources division.

With the economy continually improving, the current national unemployment rate for February 2013 is at 7.7 percent, while Florida is at 7.8 percent, according to the monthly report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
