("Voip-Pal") (OTC Pink sheets: VPLM) announces operational update regarding its retail website PointsPhone.Com (www.pointsphone.com).  Previously, Voip-Pal announced that PointsPhone.Com is accepting orders from new customers.  New users can sign up, make a payment and begin making calls virtually anywhere in the world using the free built-in PC Dialer or the free PointsPhone Mobile™ Android App (version 2.3 or higher) for as low as 1 cent per minute.

PointsPhone.Com has completed final testing and deployed all of its calls through a global network system with connectivity to over 200 countries across 400 local point of presence sites (PoPs).  This allows for the highest quality and uninterrupted call service for users worldwide.

PointsPhone.Com is improving its new user registration process so new users can receive instant activation on their new account and begin using their minutes immediately.

A new hard and soft Firewall has been installed on Voip-Pal's Cloud Server to improve the security of PointsPhone.Com's operations and protect users against cyber crime.

The PointsPhone Mobile™ Apps for smartphones are being redeployed to Voip-Pal's new Cloud Server.  The Android App has been successfully redeployed for Android OS version 2.3 or higher.  Users can download the Android App onto their Android smartphone or tablet from the Android Market (https://market.android.com/apps) by searching 'pointsphone'.  Beta testing for older versions of the Android OS is currently being conducted.  In addition, beta testing of the remaining PointsPhone Mobile™ Apps -- Blackberry, iPhone, Windows OS and Symbian is also ongoing.  As each beta testing has been successfully completed, new PointsPhone Mobile™ Apps will be announced.

Virtual numbers or DIDs have been successfully integrated on PointsPhone.Com's softswitch platform.  By choosing a suitable local virtual number, users can receive calls without incurring roaming charges for themselves or their callers.
